Training & Competency Coordinator

The role

For a major EPC energy project, you build the training and competency assurance programme for the operations and maintenance teams. The role starts in Paris during the engineering phase, then continues on site in the United Kingdom during training delivery and commissioning.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project O&M training and competency assurance programme.
• Conduct the Training Needs Analysis.
• Build training matrices and competency frameworks for each position.
• Coordinate OEM and vendor training.
• Manage training and assessment records in a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Ensure personnel are trained, assessed and competent ahead of commissioning, start up and handover.

Your profile

• At least 8 years of experience in training and competency management in the process industry: power generation, Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemicals, carbon capture.
• Strong exposure to commissioning and start up projects.
• Hands on experience with an LMS and industrial competency standards (OPITO, ECITB or equivalent).
• Fluent English is essential.
• Mobility: Paris for about 10 months, then a UK site for at least one year.
