Smart 3D Administrator

The role

We regularly recruit Hexagon Smart 3D (formerly SmartPlant 3D) Administrators to work with a major Oil & Gas and energy transition engineering group in Paris. You administer and develop the 3D design environment used on EPC projects.

Your responsibilities

• Administer the Smart 3D application: setup, project configuration and access management.
• Manage Global Workshare replication across engineering centres.
• Maintain catalogues and specifications, particularly for piping.
• Develop custom commands and configure pipe support libraries.
• Administer the associated databases (SQL Server or Oracle) and develop reports.
• Support users and contribute to the continuous improvement of design tools.

Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience in Smart 3D administration and customisation, ideally on Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Hands on experience developing custom commands (.NET, C# or VB.NET) and support libraries.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server or Oracle databases.
• Experience limited to E3D or PDMS alone does not match this role.
• Professional English is essential.
