Safety Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that safety considerations are integrated into the design process of our products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze design specifications and assess safety requirements for new products and systems.
• Develop and implement safety design strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety analyses, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and hazard identification.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to safety design processes, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams during product development and testing phases.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to safety engineering and design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid experience in safety design engineering or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and design standards.
