LV/MV Electrical Maintenance Technician

The role

On behalf of a global leader in electrical engineering, you work on the premises of industrial customers and renewable energy producers throughout France. You ensure the maintenance, modernisation and reliability of their low and medium voltage electrical installations.

Your responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LV and MV equipment: switchboards, switchgear cells, transformers, circuit breakers.
• Carry out retrofit and modification works on existing installations.
• Inspect, test and set protection relays in MV/HV substations.
• Perform dielectric tests and related measurements, and interpret the results.
• Write intervention reports and advise customers on the condition of their installations.
• Strictly apply electrical safety rules and lockout procedures.

Your profile

• Vocational training in electrical engineering.
• At least 3 years of hands on experience on LV and MV equipment, in industrial maintenance or customer substations.
• Valid LV and MV electrical clearances, knowledge of the NF C 18-510 standard.
• Available for frequent travel across France.
• Technical English is a plus.
