Lead Reinforced Concrete Designer

The role

We regularly recruit highly experienced reinforced concrete designers to work with a major Oil & Gas engineering group in Paris. You lead a team of designers and guarantee the quality of civil drawings for industrial facilities.

Your responsibilities

• Produce and check reinforced concrete drawings: structures, foundations, equipment pads, basins and underground works.
• Prepare formwork and reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Lead and supervise a team of designers, allocate workload and check deliverables.
• Coordinate studies with structural engineers and other disciplines (piping, equipment, electrical).
• Contribute to 3D model reviews and clash detection.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, Eurocodes and production schedules.

Your profile

• At least 15 years of experience as a reinforced concrete designer, including experience as a group lead.
• Background ideally gained on Oil & Gas, petrochemical or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or BricsCAD and Navisworks.
• Sound knowledge of reinforcement detailing rules and Eurocodes.
• Technical English appreciated for project communication.
