Lead ICSS, Site Operations

The role

We regularly recruit experienced ICSS Leads to support a leading energy company on its production facilities in Angola. You act as the on site technical authority for integrated control and safety systems, from design through to start up.

Your responsibilities

• Oversee the overall ICSS architecture (DCS, SIS, F&G) and ensure its consistency with instrumentation.
• Ensure the industrial cybersecurity of control systems in line with applicable standards (IEC 62443).
• Validate instrumentation choices and steer EPC engineering and subcontractors.
• Lead and coordinate the ICSS team on site.
• Conduct FAT and EFAT at vendor premises, supervise loop testing and support commissioning.
• Manage operational start up with strict adherence to HSE culture.

Your profile

• At least 15 years of experience in control and safety systems, including several years as a lead on Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven experience in commissioning and start up of production facilities.
• Strong command of IEC 61511 and good knowledge of industrial cybersecurity.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Professional English is essential, Portuguese is an asset.
